How to keep a 3yr old in her own bed

Need advice on keeping my 3yr old in her own bed. She is never tired and can stay awake longer than me or my husband. She goes down in her own bed but I wake up and she is next to me. I don't even notice sometimes.

Any tips x

Put chimes on your door, when she comes in then return her to her own bed.

Personal I would do nothing. If u dont even notice what's the harm? She feels safest and wants to be next to you. Enjoy it while it last she wont be little for ever. We got a bigger bed because of night time wondering in from DC. If everyone gets the sleep they need that's all that matters.

Depends how chronic it is. The thing that worked with my dd was audible (stories). But she was a pickle not wanting to be with us iyswim. If you’ve tried all standard methods I would just put a mattress on the floor next to my bed and let her come in.

That's what i thought but I was mummy shamed the other day about it.

Thank you xx

That's sweet, jenna. I think co sleeping with little ones is lovely and cosy. Make the most of it, it won't last forever. In no time she'll flouncing off and shutting her bedroom door with a bang!

Duct tape. On a more serious note, as it’s seems that it’s not bothering you I wouldn’t worry. Our 5 year old still comes in. I often end up in with my 3 year old. The 5 year old is reducing in frequency, she won’t be small forever.

Get the cuddles and attention while i can, your all right she wont be young forever. I have asked and she says she wants to be with me. It's not causing an issue with me or my husband yet.
