EBF baby doesn't feed to sleep - anyone else?

My 6 month old baby is EBF. When she was very small, she would feed to sleep, but stopped at around 10 weeks; now instead she just pulls of when she's had enough, always wide awake. oddly though, she still feeds to sleep overnight, just not for day/bedtime. We've been to hell and back with her screaming and crying at naps, bedtime etc. as she wouldn't rock to sleep either, so we've had to go through shhing, tummy rubs, face stroking, ANYTHING to get her to settle. Thankfully, it's paid off and she now self settles, but it's been a tough ride.
I'm curious however, as i've not met another breastfed baby who doesn't feed to sleep; I've always been so jealous of friend's babies peacefully dropping off in arms, or feeding to sleep at night with no tears.
Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone have any idea why?! She feeds every hour and a half or so, and is gaining weight great, so it don't think it's that she's hungry.
Really interested to hear from others on this, as couldn't seem to find anything on Google either Confused thanks in advance!

Nope, mine hasn't since around the same age, it's like I've got red bull pumping out my nips, as soon as he pulls off he wants rave.

Mine won't feed to sleep in the day either, it's infuriating! She will for bedtime (and approximately 800 times overnight) but when she decides she's up for the day it's game over. Day naps are all sling/pram (can't be arsed to do cot naps and don't believe babies can be taught to self settle til they're ready without a looootttttt of work and she's already hard work).

Dreading her giving up feed to sleep for night, I enjoy not getting out of bed.

Mine doesn't (6mo) but we did v gentle sleep training to get that way as I didn't actually enjoy feeding her to sleep and then trying to put her down without waking, etc. plus then having to do it again for any night wakings. Now I just put her in cot, give her a kiss and leave and she puts herself to sleep. She still wakes once for a feed, but I put her down awake afterwards and she goes off to sleep again.

She will fall asleep while feeding during the day if we are just sitting on the sofa.

I do have a weird baby though in that she's never really enjoyed falling asleep on me, aside from on boob. When she was very small she was quite happy sleeping in her Moses basket and in her cot on her own and she still is quite independent about sleep now.
