Best books for preparing 2 year old for sleep

Hello lovely mumsnetters,

I'm looking for your recommendations on books that will explain to my toddler what is expected of her at bedtime.

I am pregnant with number 2 on the way and have only recently weaned her from breastfeeding at night. Either my husband or I currently lay next to her in her toddler bed to help her fall asleep.

This used to work but now she is increasingly messing around and bedtime can take up to 2+hours meaning she's going to bed far too late and we are exhausted!

I want to get to the stage, ideally before number 2 arrives, that we can do our bedtime routine (currently bath, milk in cup and story in bed, then lay down to sleep) and we can say goodnight and she will go to sleep alone.

I think she would respond well to reading about this in a book (this has worked well for potty training). Does such a book exist?

Do any of you have any advice?

TIA
