Has been sleeping fine up until two weeks ago... Now, he has to be stroked and cuddled to sleep and decided that with no. 2 on the way that enough is enough. Have been in, stroked his back, told him to go to sleep etc. But, still not asleep. Waking up in the night too! Any suggestions....

Could it be teething? I went through a realy rough week with my 18 months old in January turned out she had viral ear ache. She kept waking about 2am and was awake for a couple of hours and screamed if left.

Hve you tried pain relief at bed time?

Hi Cargirl - he is definitely teething - use Homeopathic Camomile AND Nurofen for Children. He has just got off now but I know that he will be up later in the night. Maybe it would be worth taking him to the doctor but there is no sign of temperature. I just think that he is being strong-willed... actually - he is awake crying! Better go see whats going on. Thanks for help.
