Hello fellow mummies, I am a single mum to my 15 month old daughter who when younger used to be a FANTASTIC sleeper, unfortunately not anymore though. She is waking every night between 10 and 2 and is staying up for around 3-4hours! She's isn't upset as such but does often whine for my attention, once she has it and sees me up to sooth her she instantly lies herself back down, this then becomes a game to her. I have tried EVERYTHING that I can think off to help her settle back off but nothing seems to work. I'd be very grateful for any advice given. I'm in desperate need of a good nights sleep, kind of fed up walking round like a zombie everyday. Thanks in advance x

How do you feel about the variety of sleep training options? Either disappearing chair or cry itnout?

Never heard of the disappearance chair?

Also have a bad sleeper... Mine is 12 months, used to be a very good sleeper but now a nightmare sleep wise (though lovely in every other way!).

I have been rocking him in the pram to get him back to sleep (not ideal I know but I was desperate). Last week he woke up at 2am and for 17 HOURS i tried absolutely everything go get him to sleep (car, feeding, pram... You name it!) And we decided absolutely that something had to change.

Yesterday we started sleep training. Full sleep routine, milk, cuddle then in his cot. He keeps standing up so every couple of minutes I lie him down and say "it's sleep time". I don't leave the room until hes asleep because Im not comfortable with that.
Yesterday it took 2.5 hours for him to sleep, today 1 hour!

Maybe see if it might work for you? Do you have anyone who could come and stay over for a couple of nights to help you out? It's hard enough with 2 of us doing it so 100% full respect to you as a single mummy 🙂
