My 19 month old has been a pretty good sleeper from birth and apart from when he has been unwell we have rarely had an undisturbed night. But now he keeps waking up several times over night. Sometimes we can get him back down but others it’s impossible. He has one nap during the day, he’s tired at bedtime and goes down fine. Nothing has really changed in his routine why is he now getting up so much? He can say some words but not enough to tell us why or what he wants. Any help & advice would be amazing xxx

Following, because we're experiencing exactly the same with our 22 month old! Wide awake for an hour + in the middle of three night and hysterical if we don't sit in her room with her 😕 happy to stay in her cot, but just absolutely wide awake!!

I vaguely remember this but it seems it’s a known sleep regession. There are some tips in the article - I’d definitely second watching for overtiredness. Children sleep much better when they are not knackered Confused.

And if teeth might be a factor, I found Dentinox good.
