Bumpers on cots/legs coming out

Hi everyone. Hopefully will transition DD to her big cot soon. Tried a few naps in there but she moves around so much she manages to get her legs out of the sides. I'm worried she will end up breaking her leg!

Am I being overly worried or should I use bumpers? Although I've heard these are banned or not recommended in the UK now?

Any advice greatly received.

We got a grobag which stops legs going through and we've never had a problem with arms.

Bumpers can be a suffocation risk and can be used for climbing out the cot later.

Wait and see if you have any problems? You might not need anything.

Avoid those cotton non-breathable bumpers at all costs....very dangerous. I had no idea until I saw another thread on here. Many babies have suffocated because of them. Better a broken arm than dead Confused. Saying that I do use the breathable bumper, I think they are called airwrap. I have woven them between the slats. Also after reading that thread I have taken out all toys and only put a blanket on my DD when she is fast asleep (she has a grobag) feet to foot of cot and tuck the breathable blanket under mattress. It's all so scary! I'll try to send you a link to the thread x
