cuddled ds til he went to sleep

he's 2.1yo

last few nights he's been very unsettled - cried a lot at bedtime and naptime

could be to do with imminent arrival of ds2 - or possibly just one of thos random things

anyway, after stories i chatted to him about how he needn't be sad, etc etc and we were having a lovely cuddle (he's not normally a bug cuddler)

and i couldn't bring myself to move

please tell one night won't make a difference and that he won't expect this every night now [pleading]

I cuddle dd1 to sleep some nights, she will be 5 in October

maybe once a month she will ask me to sleep with her in the night, it is lovely

she sleeeps well the rest of the time, not a peep

dd2 is in our bed maybe once a week, again, it is lovely (if she sleeps

could be nightmare, could be trying it on, could be anything, who knows, so I give them the benefit of the doube

anyway all this rod/back stuff is bollocks imo, I am a mother, they need me, what is there to worry about?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 06/07/2007 21:06

Tutter - cuddles arent bad, lady

edam · 06/07/2007 21:06

Aw, tutter, that's a lovely story.

As for you quinoa freaks...

GibbonInARibbon · 06/07/2007 21:06

I get teased but I think I'm only part earth mother...I get especially guilty buying cheap clothes and not fair trade

And I tumble dry too much

Lullabyloo · 06/07/2007 21:11

FrannyandZooey · 06/07/2007 21:11

Gibbon people think I am some sandal wearing type

HC came to my house and said "it is actually quite clean in here"

anniemac, i could have written your post..... i do love cuddling dd to sleep, but it takes a bloody great chunk out of my evening that i resent. but she's more than capable of climbing out of her bed & coming downstairs to find us. do start that thread!
