he's 2.1yo

has resisted naps for a few days and has been taking ages to drop off at night

so today when he said "no" to a sleep we came back downstairs

a bit not having day broken in half

am guessing it'll get tough come 4pm-ish - any ideas?

Poor old Tutter and VV

Strangely, I find DS sleeps better at night after a nap (he's 2.6)

Hope the short nap strategy goes well!

Oh Tutter - sorry to be right for once!!

If you do give him a nap today make it alot earlier than normal..so if it's normally 1 make it 11.20 for example. Then he will still have a really long stretch this afternoon.

If it's any consolation dd3 woke at 5am dead on...i gave her milk (I know I know!!) but then she slept til 8.20am...

ok well he just fell asleep in the car

have put him in his room

dilemma now: do i let him sleep to catch up on hours lost yesterday/last night, or wake him after an hour or so (will undoubtedly be v grotty if i do)...?

wake him up after an hour or so...then he should have recharged batteries but still be tired by bedtime ( crossed fingers)
