7 month old - 4 to 5 short naps

My baby has always been a bad napper. He does not nap in the stroller but naps in a carrier. But his naps, whether at home or in the carrier, are almost always 30 mins long. I have tried holding him while he naps but even then he wakes up after 30 mins and he is tired and cranky 1.5 hrs after waking up. This is true even after an occasional 1.5 hr nap. I am at a loss as to what to do. He has started waking up more at night too (every 1.5 to 2 hrs). All my day goes in rocking him to sleep. Is this ever going to get better? Sad

I drove myself mad trying to get my first son to nap longer than 30mins at a time. He just wouldn't do it. It wasn't until I accepted it that I felt better about life (!) and adapted routines around it.
Sorry if that's the same for you but you're not alone!

One would think I would accept it and move on but my LO keeps giving me false hopes(slept in the stroller for 3 weeks and stopped at 6 months) and I get frustrated when all my routine has to change every 2 to 3 weeks.
At least am glad to know am not alone Smile.
