2 year old DD calling out in the mornign and waking her brother. Help

When DD woke up she used to sing to herself and amuse herself for ages before we went into ehr but now, she wakes up and shouts at the top of her voice for me.
Unfortunately it is waking up her 6 year old brother who, bless him, appears in the hallway rubbing his eyes looking awful, really not having been ready to wake up (it's usually about 6.15/6.30 at the moment )
I've tried explaining to DD that she mustn't do this because it wakes her beloved brother, I've offered her stickers as a reward for getting herself out of bed and coming into my room to get me instead.
Any ideas please what i can do? I feel so sorry for DS (and for myself of course

Could you not say that if she gets a sticker each morning for the week, for NOT waking up her brother, she will get a treat on the sunday? Saying that my ds has just turned two and the concept of stickers and rewards would go straight over his head atm... is she forward for two, would she understand the above?

i have no advice, it twas soooo long ago...... i think my son got up and put a dvd on.

i am not advocating this ofcourse. 2 year olds on their own is highly dangerous.

When we talk about stickers MrsFish she is all very keen and seems to understand but then the promise of getting a sticker for coming into my room isn't working. Likewaise the promise of a sticker if she doesn't shout out hasn't worked either.

Sorry Custardo, didn't mean to ignore your post just got trigger happy. I wouldn't mind what she did when she woke up to tell the truth as long as she did it quietly

I thought I'd share with you what happened last night and this morning in the Mckenzie household.
I spoke to DD at length last night about the stickers and what to do in the morning and she really seemed to understand and was excited about it. She went to bed as usual and DS and ! were downstairs doing some reading. About 5 mins after she'd gone to bed, DD appears with her finger on her lips and whispered "I got up quietly mummy, I didn't shout. Sticker??"

Try explaining to a 2 year old that she's only actually been in bed for 5 mins and it has to be after she's been there for 12 hours.

Anyway, this morning DS woke first and took himself to the toilet (very quietly, he's well trained in these matters bless him) and then back to his room.
A short while later apparently he heard DD on the landing and so went out to her. By the time I stirred and realised something was going on he'd taken her nappy off and was helping her onto the toilet.

It was such a cute sight

mckenzie we are in the same household obviously. It's happening here too! I just can't get mad with dd she's just too happy to be alive!!!
