Can my 4month old move into his own room yet?

Hi all, my 4month old is in his crib In my room, which is fine but he wriggles so much that he ends up sleeping sideways, always has his arms and feet out the crib and wriggles up to the top. There isn’t much room in there for him now. I know they say for baby to sleep in the same room for 6 months but is it too early for him to go to his cotbed in his room? I’ve got a monitor which senses movement etc. I just wonder if he would benefit from having more space?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

It’s against the safe sleep guidelines but plenty of parents do it. Only you can decide really.
