Hello fellow mumsnetters! I won’t bore you with the details but I have decided to use a sleep consultant for DS and have narrowed it down to Ann Caird or Nicola Watson but need help deciding. Any reviews/ experiences to share gratefully received x

I have met Ann Caird and she was a lovely women. She came to a baby group meeting and shared sleep advice/tips etc. It was very practical advice and she seems very flexible with her approach. She's completely against leaving a baby to cry which I like.

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes her gentle approach is what has drawn me to her. Glad to hear she’s as lovely in real life!

I used Ann with my DD. She’s fantastic, I thoroughly recommend her.

DD was about 28 months, we were sleeping on her floor as she was up multiple times in the night and was hard to settle. Wed also be sitting with her for ages before she went to sleep as she went bananas if we left the room. We’d had months of broken sleep and I was newly pregnant. Exhausted does not begin to cover it. No word of a lie, DD slept through on the first night after our first session with Ann.

I really liked Ann’s approach, very centred on supporting the emotional needs of the child and very kind. It all made sense too and the improvement was immediate. Best money I’ve ever spent.
