16 month old still in our room?

Our DS is still in our room in his own cot bed due to the set up of our house at the moment until we have work done.
It works for us, we sleep well and he sleeps well 7-7 and doesn't get disturbed by us coming to bed. He self settles to bed and during the night.
My worry is when the time comes for him to go into his own room he will be used to being in with us and it will be harder or am I just over worrying?! 🙈

We were the same here. Dd didn't go in her own room until we moved house when she was 17 months.
No problem with the transition at all Smile

Enjoy the sleep. There is no issue at all with having your wee one in with you as long as you guys are happy.
Our youngest was close to 3 when he went into his room. He is nearly six now and I offered him a sleepover when daddy was working away recently. He said no thanks. 😂

My 8 year old is still in my room. He's the 5th child and the only bugger to get away with it. No idea where I went wrong

My oldest slept with us till nearly three too. The transition was completely painless! There is no point worrying about this, as long as you are happy with the arrangement.
