Travel cot uncomfortable - what can I do????

My DS (20 weeks) has a Graco travel cot but the base of it (so-called matress) is really hard and he just down't sleep well in it.

Can you buy mattress toppers to make them more comfy or would these impede on the safety regulations???? What about getting a big piece of foam cut to size????

Please help, I just don't know what to do without endangering my DS.

Anyone else had this problem??

I'm not sure if you're supposed to but I put a cot bed duvet under the sheet on the travel cot then put a fitted sheet on the top so it's really secure. Seemed to help dd
