unexplained waking

i put my 6 month old down at 7.30 when he shows normal signs of wanting sleep, i b feed him to sleep.
usualy he wants to sleep till 11-1 for another feed but for a few nights now hes woken up every 45 mins crying and wont bfeed to sleep and i have to rock him to calm him and sleep. his teath arnt through and hes generaly a happy little chap not abnormaly grizzly. any ideas?

It sounds like it could well be his teeth.
They tend to hurt inside the gums before they come through and that could explain why he doesn't want to feed; causing him more pain.
My DD is 6 months old and she got her first tooth through this week.
Recently she too has been waking crying for no apparent reason and needs to be cuddled/fed back to sleep.
Hopefully it's just a phase and your DS will be back to normal sleep patterns soon.
They seem to go through lots of phases, don't they.
