How to drop 14 month old down to one nap a day?

Hi mums,

My little boy is almost 14 months old and had 2 naps a day. One at around 9.30 usually for 2 hours and another around 3 for about half an hour.

He’s starting to get more difficult to put down for the afternoon nap and I’m wondering if he just doesn’t want that sleep any more?

He has his lunch at 12 and a bottle at 1.30 so I’m wondering how to cut to one nap and what times are best? I don’t think he’d make it to bedtime (7pm) with the morning nap he has now seeing as then he’d be awake for over 7 hours?

Any advice appreciated! What age did you cut your baby’s naps down and how? Thank you!! X

Drop the morning nap and put him down for a long sleep after lunch
That should see him through to bed time
