Dummy dependence at night for 10 week old...how to remove!

So the last 3 nights I have been up every 45 mins with our 10 week DS asking to have her dummy back! I have been reading the odd thread on taking it away and looking for other sleep cues, as there were a lot of people saying they were so pleased they got rid of it for sleeping. But then I think I would need to keep it for the day as she can be a grumpy little monkey. I'm edging towards getting rid of it for sleep but I wondered what other people's experiences were and if anyone had any advice? Thanks
