Please tell me why DD2 (6 months) has suddenly developed an in-built alarm clock ?

The lack of sleep is starting to take it's toll.
DD2 was doing brilliantly with her sleep until about 6 weeks ago - now we have, every morning without fail, a bright and bubbly DD at 4.45 every single morning.
I feed her, although I don't think she is hungry and she just lays there quite happily gurgling away. I usualy manage to get her back off to sleep again just before 6 and the DD1 is usually up between 6-6.30.
I thought maybe something to do with being weaned but I onyl started this about 2-3 weeks ago and she doesn't sleep long during the day, maybe 45 mins in morning and another 45 mins in afternoon.
I cannot cope with getting up at 4.45 every day, it's killing me.

ive said this before and ill say it again

its v common at this age

she will grow out of it

take her down the stairs, put her on the floor with various toys and have a doze on the couch yourself

You mean i have to get out of my bed ?

DD1 never did this - I thought my babies would instinctively know I cannot not sleep
