DS (2.10) fell asleep on way back from nursery. he's been up since 5.45am and only had 15 mins sleep at nurser. I've tried and tried to wake him up but he's in a deep deep sleep on the sofa.

Is it ridiculous just to put him to bed now? or will I pay the price at 4am tomorrow? (normally he goes to bed at 6.30-7)

I'd put him to bed as long as he's had enough to eat. If that was my DS he'd probably wake up around midnight and want some milk. It's only a bit more than an hour earlier isn't it?

thanks tommy - well I tried to put him to bed but as soon as I carried him into his room and said "what are you dong' and woke up straight away "I don't want to go to bed" And now he's really crabby and probably won't go to bed for hours
