Hi my 6month old ds has come in bed with me for nighttime feeds from day 1, I used to put him back in cot but he won't go back at all now and stays in with me. From about 2 months he was sleeping til 4 or 5am and then coming in, which was fine, in the last 3 weeks he's been waking at midnight and sucking on and off all night. He also won't sleep in day except for in his pram and then only for an hour. I'm back at work and desperate.. so desperate I tried 'crying it out' in the day in his cot and he cried for 2 hours and still didn't go to sleep so I've gone back to the pram again. Just can't do CC at night as we have an 18mth old and 4 year old. Would love any ideas... you'd think after 3 I'd know what I'm doing wouldn't you? Feel more helpless than ever this time!

Have you tried looking at askdrsears.com because there are some good tips on there about dealing with this sort of thing.

My DS (7 months) was like this until just very recently. I didn't really mind it - or I wouldn't have minded, but he didn't sleep any better for being in bed, and like yours fed on and off for the whole night. In the last few nights he has started going back in his cot after feeds. The only thing I can attribute this to is that I've tried to make the cot cosier with a bumper etc. I have also made sure I put him down awake at night. This seems to help too. Now I just have to try to get him to stop waking up every 2 hours!
