13mo does baby gymnastics in his cot every night!!! HELP

My DS is 13months old and during the night moves all over his cot. Changing which way he's facing, and generally wriggling all over the place. He has been in a grobag more or less since day one, but now he's getting bigger and grobags only go up to 18 months - what do you do?

When can you try to put him to be with a blanket?

Has anyone else faced this problem?

My children do/have done this. We've used Grobags and my son had his until he was nearly 3.
Got them here

My dd has been doing gymnastics round her cot since she was 5 months! She has been in grobags since the day I put her in for her nap, and came back to find she'd rotated 180 degrees and had her head under the blanket. Snugglesacs here do sleeping bags for older children, and I'm sure there are other makes, too.

Dd was just like this. I used to put her in fleecy sleepsuits and didn't bother with blankets.

ds just the same - another vote for warm clothing, then they can sit / crawl / stand / spin round / stick legs through cot bars etc etc without having to throw the covers off first (which takes ds approx 0.00005 seconds from being covered up)

We have this problem, but still use blankets as ds hates grobags. Wish I'd started using them sooner... Might try the fleecy sleepsuit thing as he is waking me up a few times most nights when he is cold...
