The Independent on Sunday had an article yesterday about how digital baby monitors release high levels of radiation that may be harmful to babies - we have one (which also has a movement sensor pad) and now i feel terrible for using it! anyone got any sensible advice or scientific understanding about this?? thanks!

We've got one for our 18 month old son and to be honest, the fact that he glows slightly in the dark makes him easier to find and settle at night!

For sensible advice though, check out this link: www.safekids.co.uk/AreDigitalBabyMonitorsSafe.html - the level of electro-magnetic radiation given off by monitors, even at relatively close range, is 10,000 times lower than international safety norms.

I hope you mean it glows in the dark not he glows in the dark otherwise maybe there is something to worry about!
