Second half of the night help!

Our little two month old will sleep for three to four hours from 9.30-10pm ish until around 1-2.30am. She has a general bedtime routine and settles easily when we go to bed.

After the first wake up she’ll have a feed (I have to offer boob/s loads of times as she will wake up grumbling but then seem too sleepy to eat. She’ll keep her eyes closed throughout and scream if I change nappy (which I avoid unless poo) but when I put her back down in basket she’s all grunty and wriggly immediately and will carry on for ages until she starts crying

I can manage the kicking by holding her gently for a while and after doing this a few times she’ll eventually drop off but then wakes every hour or so for rest of night until somewhere 5 and 6.30am when she tells me it’s morning

Any tips for converting this second half into the night into a mirror of the first half so she and I both get another lovely block of two-three hours sleep?

Her naps in day are always short 20-45 minutes

Thank you!

Sadly, there mostly isn't anything that worked for us except waking til he got a bit older, and it's got worse as well as better.

Sounds like it could be reflux related. That is the issue with my little one and his disturbed second half of the night x

I was just thinking are you winding them? I find you need to get a good belch before you put them back down or they wriggle. Mine is bottle fed though.
