My DS is now 3.5 months old and is (fingers crossed) a pretty good sleeper at night. However he always fights his sleep in the day and sometimes goes past it. We have a little bouncy seat - fabric thing - that he will never sleep in but pretty much the instant I put him in his car seat he goes off. (we dont go anywhere - its just the seat!!) I think this is because the seat is far more robust and holds him securely etc. However the problem is my DH does not like him being in this for any length of time. If I try to move him across he wakes and starts screaming. I am happy to leave him in the car seat but feel guilty re DH. Is it harmful to my DS to be in there for 1.5 hours at a time??
