Little man sleeping over 9 hours with no feed

My little man has always done about 5 hours at night with no feed (bottle fed). And every 4 hours in the day.

The last 4 days he has fed about 8pm and doesn't wake till 6. I feed him and he goes back to sleep until about 9 and then feeds again.

I just want to know if this is normal at 9 weeks old ??

I don't think it is normal. You are very lucky!

My DCs both slept through the night from around six weeks old so i've been very lucky, last feed would be around 9/10pm and then they'd sleep around 10 hours. I just used to find that they'd eat more in the daytime, as if they knew they had to make up for it, so some days i'd feel like I was constantly feeding.

As long as you aren't worried and he's taking enough milk throughout the day then i'd say fine. It may be a phase or you may be lucky and it will last.

My baby slept through from 2 weeks. She slept for 12 hours each night and I had to wake her every 4 hours during the day to feed her for 6 months. She never woke for food. I was worried sick there was something wrong with her.

The health visitor wasn't concerned. She said that as long as she was gaining weight she was fine.

She also said we only hear about crying babies; there are babies who just sleep. She did say not to mention it to the other new mums with babies who didn't sleep though!

Enjoy it! Dd2 slept more overnight at a few weeks old than she does now at 11 months (and even now sleeps well). If your ds is gaining weight it doesn't matter how much sleep he has.

DS was bottle fed and a very chilled out baby.. he slept through from 7 weeks. But would go long stretches during the night without waking for a feed.

DD was breastfed and she was doing 4 hours during the night from when she came home, started sleeping through from 7 weeks. But it all changed at 7 months.. she'll be 5 this year and only just started sleeping through again 😬

Mine slept from 3 weeks. I did lift him for a dream feed but I can't remember until how many weeks. He would go down at 7 I'd feed at 11 and then he'd go through til 8 am.
There was no so called sleep regression either. I was very lucky!
My first child on the other hand.... Shock
Enjoy your sleep

Dis did this from 10 weeks. He’s 6 months now. We do bedtime bottle at around 8-830 the. He sleeps through until 7.

It’s rather nice.
