Thats pretty much all I wanted to share. And all I can as my DS grizzles for the umpteenth time. The boob doesn't even work....he takes it and screams.....dear God

Definitely agree with you. Still have 14 days until it finishes 😫😫

Jellybabie3 · 14/01/2018 14:01

I have 23! Shock

Sorry! I would also argue why they are called wonder weeks when they definitely don’t last a week. Should be called wonder months

Jellybabie3 · 14/01/2018 16:00

And less "wonder"....more "nightmare"

this made me laugh
we are there too.
ds was inconsolable early for no apparent reason. wouldn't take boob either which normally works like magic.

BellyBean · 14/01/2018 17:29

I've just come through the other side, DD is sitting, starting to roll, she can grasp things better and really interested in the world now. Hold onto the amazing skills being developed, it'll be worth it!

sleepycat13 · 14/01/2018 17:52

@BellyBean thank you for that. just checked we have 14 days to go. these last two weeks have been sooo hard. I have never been so sleep deprrirved but looking forward to seeing what skills come next

Jellybabie3 · 14/01/2018 18:46

Ah it is brilliant i am just at a loss as nothing really cheers him up. As has been said even the boob doesnt work. He will put nipple in his mouth to let go and go mental. Bless him. It must be so confusing. I dont mind too much waking up in the night but I find it tough when hes hysterical. I'm off to lunch tomorrow laughs at the thought of how that will go. I think its the fact its so bloody long too. Hand holds are welcome!

My DS screams after about 3mins on one breast then wants to go to the other...then back again. Screaming crying and arching his back. I have to have both boobs out. Anyone else get this??

sleepycat13 · 16/01/2018 21:42

@Jellybabie3 I haven't had quite the same but he does protest at the boob for no apparent reason. sometimes swapping sides helps, sometimes it doesnt.
then he will get over it and ten mins later be laughing again. ahhh so confusing

sleepycat13 · 16/01/2018 21:56

I spoke to soon. he is becoming hysterical after a couple of mins on the boob
I have now swapped sides about 5 times

Jellybabie3 · 16/01/2018 22:10

I'm actually relieved it's not just me. Doing my head in! But your right. When he stoos he is ADORABLE!

My DS is 8 months and still does this! He’ll insist on swapping between the two constantly sometimes. My DM is a seasoned breast feeder, having bf all of us extensively- and she always comments on how my DS is a terrible feeder. It’s hardly ever been calm, there’s always been thrashing, pulling on and off, tugging at the nipple. I have a large chest so it’s no fun when I’m out and about trying to feed him and he’s insisitng on swapping about 6 times. All discreetness goes out the window! No answers I’m afraid but seems normal!

Jellybabie3 · 18/01/2018 15:24

Ah ok fair enough. We went to a first aid class last night and it was pretty embarrassing. Esp as he did a loud grunty poo too Confused
