hi would love some advice if anyone has any!
ds2 is 16 months and has never been a great sleeper but its now taking longer and longer to get him to sleep.(up to a couple of months ago a bottle in bed was enough now he has that and refuses sleep no matter what time i put him down).also tried controlled crying but after 2 minutes he throws up his milk and everything is disturbed with changing him and bedding as its often his whole bottle that comes back everywhere.and obviously if hes chuckin up its not good so dont want to encourage distress and upset.i tried giving him his milk earlier then putting him to bed later with bottle of water and trusty tigger which is where we are at now again controlleed crying but so far no puke (hurrah) we have a pretty good bed routine he has older siblings ds1 is 5 and dd1 is 3who sleep from 7pm straight through but this is also affecting their own sleep.youngest also wakes up maybe 4 times a night i guess i just wanted a rant am 12 weeks pregnant knackered and working 26 hours a week.
rant over thanks for sticking with me if youre still reading!

Have you tried the pick up put down technique as described by the 'Baby whisperer'?
You basically pick up your ds when he cries and as soon as he stops crying lie him down in his cot. You don't speak or interact with him, just keep putting him back in his cot. It may take an hour or so for the first few nights but it usually works. It is also a compromise as you are not leaving him to cry but are just reassuring him that it is time for sleep.
Sorry not much help, hope you get it sorted before dc4 arrives.
