ds 11 months still in our room through saftey nearly tipped over his cot about a month ago thought it was just a fase but its turning into every morning and after every night he rocks it back and forth with such a force that the back end of the cot will come about two to three inches of the floor and once or twice has nearly tipped it compleatly if i hadnt dived out of bed and grabbed it time any advice for this worried mother who is looking to put him n his own room and try sleep training again

That's strong for a eleven months old!!! it's the mattress in the lowest position? that should make the cot more stable, another option is to screw it to the wall, one of my friends had it screwed when a baby because she could move her around! Of course this is very extreme but who knows, it may work.

Good night

I would agree with Chandra, screw it down whether you move him into his own room or not, he sounds really strong. But I would do that if you are really worried for his safety.

thanks chandra will try the screwing it to a wall and yes he is very strong for his age havent got a clue where from though i think i need to start cutting back on the fruit and veg the matteress is in its lowest position but even i have tried to rock it and it dont take much strenth at all it seems to give so easy which is scary as im trusting my childs saftey in it
