Sunday is the night we will cut night feeds

Any tips and pointers of what to do before then?

Ds is 11 months old and bottle fed. He normally has about 5 or 6oz in one feed overnight - for him 6oz is a big feed, 5oz is typical.

He's a good sleeper generally but ds2 is due in 7 weeks. Without fail, every night Ds will have one feed.

We're going to move his evening meal an hour earlier to 4.30 to get him hungrier for a bigger bottle before bed (hopefully) as he often likes a snack and milk around that time anyway.

Tonight I will offer 4oz of milk and see how that goes.

Any further tips or considerations? We've picked Sunday because our housemate goes onto nights so won't be disturbed as he'll be out

I really don't think this is going to work.

I made sure he only had two 90 minute naps yesterday, gave him early dinner. He all but refused his bed time milk and only had about 1oz. Was up 2.5 hours overnight (1-3.30). Had two 4oz bottles, nurofen and two sets of cuddles.

It was more stressful thinking 'is he hungry' than just giving him a bottle. He's mega unhappy this morning and pretty much just cried since he woke at 6.15. Given breakfast and he's nearly finished another 7oz bottle of milk.

I really don't know if he is ready for night weaning.

If you are giving him nurofen does that mean you think he is unwell or in pain?

He was behaving like his teeth were bugging him, yeh. Maybe teething time isn't the best time to approach night weaning.

Tried to post earlier but it didn't send.
My routine baby has gone HmmGrin

The past three nights in a row have all been different. This morning he went through till 5.20 which was apparently today's wakeup time.

I'm just going to let him do what he wants
