Why won't my 6yo go to sleep?

We have a good bedtime routine. I've tried rewards and sanctions.
She can't seem to unwind and sleep.
She shares a room with her two sisters (8&10) who go to bed and sleep. They aren't disturbing her.
She is disturbing them. Tummy ache, crying, tossing turning, talking to them. Up and down out of bed. Telling me she can't sleep wanting to sleep in my bed. It's 9-9.30 by the time she falls asleep- the other two are fed up and tired too.
Get up time is 7.30 am. She is always still asleep.
Is this normal? She's my youngest. I've never had problems like this with the other three. I cried last night I was so fed up and tired of it all.

Is she just a little bit needier than the others? I was wanting to get into my mums bed at 6 but my brother wasn’t like that at all. There’s things she could be frightened of. Is there a night light? Would she go to sleep if you stayed with her (which isn’t ideal but not forever). Could you get her some audiobooks? Some children really do find it harder to wind down than others so it could be that she is struggling to switch off?

If she is worried about anything get a book called ‘what to do when you worry too much’ -it’s on amazon.

Is she getting enough excercise/activity during the day?

We generally walk to and from school. She does have A lot of energy and doesn't sit still- I hadn't thought about this!
Thank you - I'm going to look for that book on amazon and dig out her elephant night light Smile
