I have a 3 year old DS and a 11 week old DS. My 3 year old will start Nursery in January and when I was pregnant I had came up with days out with the two of them.
None of these days out have happened. I tried the park with them and soft play but my 11 week old hates the pram/car seat. I have tried passing the pram so it’s more like he’s being held, toys on the hood of the pram and the bar of the car seat. Nothing helps, he screams the whole time with no break. I have also tried putting him in the pram when he’s happy just in the house and staying with him.
I now avoid going out, which is making my 3 year old a handful as he’s bored (me too) I’m gonna get a sling but I doubt he will like that as he has to be facing away from me to be happy!

Very true! I have had a look on eBay, I’ve seen one for £70 but it is still getting bids. There's some on eBay that look exactly the same, but are unbranded. Not sure about those. What do you think?

I wouldn’t buy unbranded on eBay. Slings are made to comply with safety standards, like prams, wouldn’t put my baby in something where you’re not sure how it was made.
Have a look at Facebook pages, lots of knowledgeable people and you can buy used slings from people who really know there slings. Not sure if it’s still going but I used ‘slings and things FSOT and advice’ or something like that.

I thought that, my old one that I sold was from mothercare but I wasn’t too keen on it! I’m only 4’11 and it didn’t fit properly. I don’t have Facebook but I can get someone to have a look for me!
I don’t think he would like a sling, he loves being upright all the time. Think I’m gonna get the ergo360

mamarach my DD likes to be upright all the time and explore the surroundings and is quite happy in close caboo.
Do have someone have a look for you on Facebook or have a look on the Internet yourself.
Sling Libraries have regular meet-ups, depending where you are, and you can get advice and loan a sling to try it out.
Hopefully your LO gets used to the pram in time, too.

I will look up that one too! Could I just google sling library in my area? Yeah I can get my dad to have a look for me, I really hope he likes it soon too. When I manage to get him in there asleep he looks so cosy!

I like the look of the close caboo one! Is it easy to use?

The Close Cabo is good but how big is your baby? Both of mine have been a reasonable size and I found I needed more back support by 3mo. I also have the ergo 360.

OP, yes, I'd google 'sling library' in your area. I am sure you will find something.

I also agree Close Caboo won't last you fover, aa good as it is. My LO is 3 months and I think I might get 4, 6 weeks out of it at a push.
