Go on, make me feel better and less alone!

DD2 (15 weeks) up 4/5 times, DD1 (3) up crying and in with me at 12 and Ddog totally unsettled and up and down off bed all night. To top it off DD1 up for the day at 6.15 and woke DD2 up in the process.

I’ve already snapped at DD1 twice at things that weren’t really her fault. DH away at the moment, it’s going to be a looooooong day isn’t it?

Every night is a shit night. The baby wailed from 10:30-12. But then woke at 4 and actually went back to sleep until six! For most of the week he's just been up for the day at 4am Sad

Go on, make me feel better and less alone!

My just turned 3yo was in the travel cot in our room from 4.30am. Didn't hear a peep from here once in there, but still the annoyance of having to get up when 8t rarely hapiens nowadays.

I know the reason, off routine day and mega amounts of sugar and calories due to 8yo's birthday and Kaspa's Desserts treat.

Also, DDog quite inexplicably weed on the floor overnight. Also never happens, we have a dog-flap FFS.

Something in the air I reckon...

@thesleeperandthespindle Thank you for your kind wishes. And hey, everyone is entitled to moan now and then. Sleep deprivation can drive you crazy! X

Heard DH up at 3am, he had awful toothache and couldn’t find painkillers. I got them for him and then was up until 3.45ish I think. 11 month old then woke at 4.30, very out of character. Didn’t manage to settle her til 5am then she woke for the day at 6.30. Left DH in bed and thought I could catch up on sleep during the morning nap... was just drifting off as the door bell went 😩

Up every 30 mins since 12:30. And I have a job interview tomorrow.

MotherofKitties · 02/10/2017 04:39

Wide awake with a cold and my 8 week old DD wrestling with my boob and being really fussy about taking in for the last 5 nights now. Sleep deprivation has well and truly kicked in Sad

UnRavellingFast · 02/10/2017 04:54

I'm awake too having massive panic attack. Sympathy to others having problems for all different reasons. Think I was stupid to read that conspiracy thread last night and then googling....!

Regressionconfession · 02/10/2017 05:06

I went to sleep at 12.30 and the kids woke up at 1.30. I finally got back to sleep at 3.30 and have just woken up in a wet patch - my DS has wet the bed. Kids now awake again! MN is my saviour!

SleepForTheWeek · 02/10/2017 11:28

@FenellaMaxwellsPony hope the interview goes/went ok. Coffee and make up are your friend today!

@UnRavellingFast dare I ask what conspiracy theory you are referring to?

@Regressionconfession That sounds rough 😩. You have my sympathies.

I think we had 4 wake ups in total, but DD2 has decided naps are for the weak and shed much ch prefer being awake, grumpy and miserable

I feel your pain, Sleep! I remember those days well. Fenella good luck with interview. Conspiracy thread- two different women who were sadly found inexplicably dead in London and somewhere in California. For some reason this triggered terrifying nightmares about Trump 😳 Hope you get some sleep soon! Good luck!
