13 month old- sleep still bad!

My 13 month olds sleep appears to be getting worse. He sleeps about 1.5 hours in the morning 9ish- 10-10.30 and then about 1 hr in the afternoon 2-3. We are still giving him a bottle (cows milk) and then rocking him to sleep- I stir him when I'm putting him in his cot and rub his back to get him back to sleep. We do the same at nighttime.
In the evenings he'll sleep in his bed from about 7. For months and months he'd wake about 3/4/5 and since he couldn't be resettled in his bed we'd bring him into ours. This then changed to waking up at about 1 and recently it's changed to 11. I can resettle him in his cot by rubbing his back but he'll wake half an hour after. I'll repeat this once or twice until I get him to sleep and bring him into bed. How do I stop this? I'm so exhausted and back to work, I'm too tired to keep insisting he stays in his bed. Anyone have any words of advice??

Can you get a floor bed instead of a cot? You can go to your own bed at night and at first night waking cuddle back to sleep and either stay in with him or sneak back off. The idea being that wake time will get later and later. Floor bed and babygate on the door, obviously room needs to be made safe too x

No advice regarding settling in own bed as my DS has been in our bed for a while now (he's 2 next week) but he did drop morning nap straight after his first birthday , any chance of pushing through the morning and having just one nap after lunch? Xxx

Yeah I wondered about dropping a nap- he did miss his afternoon nap once a couple of weeks ago as we were out, we thought he'd be knackered and would sleep better but it was actually worse! He's just started nursery so I'm sure he won't sleep well so we'll see if this helps.
I also wondered about getting him a bed that we can settle him in but he moves so much in his sleep- he normally crawls to one end and back again! Also recently he's been coming into our bed and his sleep is still bad, I have to spend the night rubbing his back or holding him to stop him moving until he eventually falls asleep- most nights he'll wale properly at about 5 Sad

My son is the same age, and does exactly the same! You could have written it for me, constantly wakes up in the night and rolls around, changeing his sleeping position all the time. I had to put him in a travel cot becuase he kept bumping his head on the wooden sides of his cot! I'm hoping when he starts walking confidently he will grow out of it! Fingers crossed.
