Early morning waking after dropping night feed

Hi, just after some opinions really. My 6 month old used to have 3 night feeds a few weeks ago (10, 1 and 3) then wake around half 6. He has suddenly dropped them and now only wakes about half 1, ace! However he wakes for the morning now about half 4/5!! We have kept his night feed the same amount, about 4ozs and he now drinks it all. I know that he should be working towards no night feeds but I wonder if I up his half 1 bottle, he may then wake later in the morning as he wont be hungry. Means more sleep for all. Any opinions appreciated. Thank you.

I would up it for now and hope you get him sleeping longer. He still is having less overall in the night and you can cut down later.

Definitely up it and expect the pattern to change again as well when he has a growth spurt as he's still so young.

Mine is a bit younger, but in a similar pattern. However, I treat a 430-5 wake up as a night feed. He usually goes back down until seven or 8 o'clock at that point. Would that work?

Feeding more in the day may help. Do you have an alternate way to settle baby that isn't feeding?

Two feeds a night is a lot for a formula fed baby. Some will have 1 feed but many non at all at this age. I'd be looking to calorie load in the daytime to drop the night feeds completely.
