I'm wondering if sleep training will still work on a 12 month old baby or is it too late? Also what type of sleep training works ?

Any advice would be most welcome FlowersEaster Smile

You can teach a child healthy sleep habits at any age.

Lots of things work. It depends on your situation, what you hope to change and your parenting style.

Hi I think you could give it ago, are you having trouble with your little one self settling? I had to train my little 9 month old, it's takes a lot of patience and sticking to routine, I would stick to the same nap time every day and put him in cot awake! He would cry and I would go in invervals to settle him, took me awhile but he goes down much better now and sleeps a lot more.

We sleep trained ds at 11 months. What type 'works' depends on your baby, your current set up and what you consider 'working'!

Yes, absolutely. We sleep trained DD at 10 months. I recommend The Happy Sleeper book - worked like a dream for us.
