Any ideas for very wet baby?

Not sure if this is the right place for this post but will give it a go.
Dd is almost 6 months and has recently started to flip over onto her side or front for sleep.
Since this she has ended up wet through (wee) by the time she wakes up for her first feed. Last night it was only four hours and her vest, babygrow and growbag were all wet.
I have tried three makes of nappies and have gone up a size but it's making no difference.
It only happens when she's on her front so I thought about putting the nappy on backwards so that the more absorbent bit is at the front but sometimes she stays on her back so I'd just have the same problem only the other way around.
Does any bright spark have a way to solve it?

Add a bamboo cloth booster into the nappy. Pop a fleece liner on top of it to she feels dry still. Just put booster pad and liner in with your ordinary washing.

Papers Baby Dry are by far the best for overnight absorption in older babies.

Also have the biggest size baby will fit in.

We have the same issue with 2 yo DD who is a tummy sleeper. We double up at night. Her regular size nappy and the next size up on top, we make sure top nappy is pulled up higher on her tummy than the first one to catch any overflow.

Pampers baby dry are some that we have tried unfortunately.
I wondered about a liner or a cover over the top but was worried that she might be too warm.
I think either a reusable cover or doubling up might be the way to go though. I can just imagine her looking like a little sumo wrestler

Nappy covers won't offer absorbency, though, just waterproofing.

How about a boys nappy? Think they are more absorbent at the front!!

They would work. You could put two in at a time, if one wasn't enough. Yes, fleece by the skin, it keeps her dry.

Triple bamboo is the most absorbent
Little lambs do good ones (get size 2) but they need at least 3 washes to get to full absorbency. Don't use fabric conditioner.
Alternatively hemp is fantastic (and can be tumble dried). Easy peasey hemp.
Get separate fleece liners because then you can fold the booster in half at the front.

Sticking a maternity pad inside the nappy works for my 9 month olds, keeps them dry all night.

We used to have to do a dream nappy, so change DS when we went to bed. That helped. He slept through it.
