I am actually losing the plot

DD2 who was a good sleeper is getting progressively worse as she grows up.

She's 10 months and while she goes to bed OK, she keeps waking up just as we go to bed and then being awake for hours - she was up til 2am last night Angry

I have also battled her all this afternoon over a nap that she seems to want (eye rubbing etc) but then screams and bucks and headbutts me when we get upstairs.

I have had it. I am totally exhausted from the shitty nights and turn into a ragey screaming banshee over the naps.

I am actually losing it - I can't stop getting angry and I feel so miserable. I can't be bothered to do anything with my other 2 cos I am so tired and me and DH are just tolerating each other atm. Sad

How can she be getting so much worse as she gets older?!

Strangely she has seemed much chirpier in the afternoon having had the one nap than she was when she was having 2!

Will have to try the 2 naps again - she is just so resistant at the moment! There is no way I could get her down at 1 having been up at 11. She would just not entertain the idea! Confused

10 months is really young for one nap but I'd try for it to be after lunch rather than before if you think that's what she needs as she won't be so overtired for the evening then

Wake at 10.30am and start afternoon nap at 1.30pm then, whatever works to make your routine work.

I'm on the same page as OohNoDooEy here. My youngest was 20-22 months before the move to 1 nap days.

Whilst 12 months isn't unhead of for 1 nap days, and you aren't far off that, this would certainly for babies getting a solid 11-12 hours at night.

If you are having broken nights, I certainly wouldn't say baby is anywhere close to ready for 1 nap days yet.

Ooh yay she's awake, right on cue... Confused
