Sleeping arrangements for GF baby on holidays?

So DD is the perfect GF baby. Slept in her cot in her own blackened room from day one at home. First holiday at 6 mths was fine. Self catering 4 bedroom house in the country side. Her own room. Plugged up the blinds. Slept like a log.

Would now like to holiday in London (or another city). Firstly booked a 1 bedroom apartment with sofa bed in lounge. DD gets the bedroom and we get the sofa bed! Then advised that sofa bed too small for 2 people so now in to 2 bedroom apartment. What do other GF families do on holidays (apart from the nightmare thread I read about the GF people staying with non GF friends)

How old is DD?
If she is over 4 months old I'd say DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT AND DON'T SWEAT IT

  1. She will keep her routine or come back to it later
  2. She may wake up earlier because of the daylight : go to bed earlier yourself

BUT ENJOY!

improvise. Just went to visit friends in the US and DS slept in the dog basket for one night (very thoroughly cleaned and new blankets!!), sometimes with us and eventually in a make-shift cot. he slept really well - woke a bit during the night - but woke up later than he does at home.
