My daughter who's just turned 8 is a very happy, active little girl. Yet for the past couple of months she just cannot/will not go to sleep! She has a bedtime of 8pm but nearly every night when me and her dad go to bed around 11pm she is still awake. Most nights there are a few trips to the toilets and general getting in and out of bed. Nothing seems to be troubling her and she is very active with lots of after school activities and in general does not sit still!
I cannot understand how she can lay in bed for 3 hours and not fall asleep, and now find myself wondering if it's something deeper than her wanting to stay up late!
Any advice/ tips greatfully received!
