Is the recommended room temperature cold to you?

Whenever the thermometer says it's the right temperature for DS it seems bloody freezing to me. Is that the norm - babies just like it cold?

Not just you. I remember keeping our room at 18 degrees as recommended by the baby books when dd was born and us all freezing.

Yes.
We have the thermostat in the coldest room set at 19deg. 8mo has a sleepsuit and 2.5tog sleeping bag on plus knitted blanket thrown over of the temp dips. 2.8yo is fine with a 10tog duvet and pj's.
Pre kids we would never have the heating on at night. Xmas Smile

Yes - bloody freezing!

None of our rooms get below 18 deg, yet we never have the heating on over night. In summer it's rarely below 20 and can often be 24+

Much to my annoyance. I LOVE being cold at night. I'm always too hot. We have a bedside fan in every bedroom (more to do with white noise addictions than temprature, really) and mi e poi ts to my face all night, every night, 365 days a year.

I'd love love love a house that went down to 16 degrees at night.
