Rolling onto belly can't roll back in cot and waking up

So lb is rolling onto his stomach from being put down and all during the night and can't roll back onto his back, so he's waking up, and not able to go back off. Iv already been up 5 times in the last 20 mins to put him back onto his back. Iv tried leaving him to settle on his front but he cries. Is there anything I can do? Or just keep getting up every 2 minutes!

This only lasted a few nights for us, then he settled on his tummy and started sleeping longer stretches.

It doesn't last long. Once baby can freely roll back to front and front to back it's not as difficult until learning to crawl starts.

Oh, forgot to add. A tightly tucked in blanket pins baby down and stops them moving around and turning over. It might help.

We had the same issue but it didn't last long. Lots of rolling practice in the day helps. Good luck

Thanks for replies, watching him now, settled on his belly for the first time, guess I just need to ride it out. No doubt I'll be back for advice once crawling ha
