Is 2 years old too young to drop naps completely?

I think I know deep down that the answer to this question is yes but I suppose I'm hoping someone will tell me their DC stopped napping at this age and is fine! It's just getting impossible to get my 2yo to nap during the day. She's always been difficult to get down for a nap but I eventually found a way that worked which was basically to lie down on my bed at around 11am with her until she fell asleep. Literally as soon as she turned two last month this became impossible for some reason. I tried moving her nap to after lunch but she still flat out refuses to sleep. Three weeks ago I had a baby and since then I've been so busy I've just completely given up trying to get DD1 to nap as I just can't face the battle. Unless we're in the car at some point during the day she just doesn't have a nap. By 4pm she is very overtired but still refuses to nap on the occasions I've been able to try and get her to sleep then, although I think 4pm is too close to he bedtime for a nap. She goes to bed at 7 and is fine going to sleep then, she wakes for the day anytime from 5.30am but usually between 6 and 7. Any words of wisdom welcome, I feel like I'm failing her.

I have read that at 2 yrs you child has a leap this effects thier sleep! So you think they don’t need a nap but they do... I know a bloomin leap! I know every child is different! My daughter is 2.4m and still has 45mins but will lower it by 15mins every so often until she drops at approx 3 can’t wait/ can wait ....if that makes sense! Good luck sleep is such a mystery!!!
