Sleepyhead in snuzpod - ditch the mattress?

Hi
I have a snuzpod and sleepyhead and am waiting to have my first baby. I've heard great things about both but I'm not sure if I should put the sleepyhead in on top of the snuzpod mattress or just ditch the mattress and have the sleepyhead on the bottom of the snuzpod.

I know lots of people use them together. But how did you do it?

Thank you for any advice you can give.

I hate the snuzpod mattress, I find it overly firm and thin. I don't see why you you couldn't just have the sleepyhead in there.

You could easily just have a the sleepyhead in there, however you might want the option of the mattress if you want to move the sleepyhead around the house or if your baby commits spectacularly over the sleepyhead in the small hours!

We used the sleepyhead ontop of the snuzpod mattress. Inside the sleepyhead is just a sheet of wadding stuff, it's not really supportive enough on it's own imo.

Thank you. Will put it back in.
