Hi.
My lo wakes between 5 and 6. She sleeps through from 630ish. Because my life and job is hectic her naps differ everyday. If I am in in the morn she generally sleeps 1 hr and half but if im in the car or shes in the buggy it depends how much and when and visa versa the situation in the anoon. Does anyone else not have strict nap times or are strict nap times good for wake up times. 6 is ok but 5! Normally i let her chat then maybe give her milk then she sleeps again sometimes she goes bk herself. Thanks :) x

I prefer strict nap times but know people who don't and generally kids just wake when they wake either way.

How old is she?

Thanks for the quick reply nap queen. She is nearly 1. She has always had naps like this as I went with the sleep breeds sleep thing. I nanny 3 times a week so take kids to school and pick them up and sometimes shes with me and sometimes with grandparents. Do your children/ child wake up after 6 with strict nap times? x

Yes. Dd is nearly 5 so doesn't nap any more but at 1 she would go wake at 7, go down 9.30 til about 10.15 then go down 12.30-2.30. She would go to bed at 6.30 and wake at 7.

DS is nearly 2 and he wakes 7am (they share a room), naps 11.30-2.30 and bed 6.30.

They both generally chatter in bed or play with a teddy til 7 then drift off to sleep.
