Can anyone help?!... Little L has always been a fantastic sleeper , sleeping 12 hours from 10 weeks. We have now moved him out of our room into his room and into his cot bed. He sleeps well until the early hours then wakes up 4 to 6 times from about 2am really unhappy. He seems to be moving around alot in the cot bed and almost frightening himself? He goes back to sleep ok but keeps waking up. We have even tried a couple of nights sleeping in the room with him but it makes no difference.
He goes to sleep ok at the beginning of the evening and when he has his day time naps.
Any advice gratefully received!

Does the heating go off? Lights on anywhere? Noisy neighbours?

Thanks for getting back so quick! No neither of those as far as I can make out!

Can you try restricting his movements in any way - rolled up towels each side under sheet to make environment more like crib - gradually reducing restriction?

Was it a moses basket? My mum used to put Moses Basket in travel cot when making transition at hers...

thanks for advice mummy magic...he has been sleeping in a small cot/ crib rather than a moses basket so I can't put it in the cot bed will try your idea with the towels nwgreenmum thank u both! His sleeping is not helped by a chest infection that has just arrived poor little L!
