Can anyone please help? I have outlined on another thread that my dh and I have started doing cc for our dd's early morning waking. It's been getting earlier and earlier - ten to four yesterday . We have had a terrible night - did an hour of cc at 2.30 and have been doing it again since 4.30 this morning. She is STILL GOING. I can't find the Ferber book but should I go in and get her now that it's an okay time (6.45) or do I need to wait for her to go back to sleep so I am not teaching her that if she cries long enough it pays off?

how old is she?

mummysurfer · 07/06/2004 06:49

if old enough to understand 'it's morning time, daddy is getting up too' then maybe get her up.
if not i'd wait until there's at least a lull. she must be tired purely from all the crying.

sorry this is only my opinion, my books are long gone. i did cc but it was about 5 years ago!!!

IMO if she has been cryingthis long I would go in it is day time - try not to let her nap unles it is the usual nap time she will learn that way she has not git her own way tho crying but that it is time to wake up hope you are ok

ragtaggle, I've been following your other post and now not sure which one to reply to, so have replied to the other one as that's got the most info on it.
