Why has my 20 month old son stopped sleeping through

Our DS was a brilliant sleeper up until last week. We are now at our wits end as the lack of sleep is draining us. We have two older sons who were terrible sleepers and thought we were blessed when our third son slept throught the night from 6 weeks. Last week he woke during the storms and has been unable to sleep in his room since. Last night he was in our bed and woke up at 2am and 4am.

What should we do?

Please help.

Could he be teething??

Thanks Fussymummy but don't think so. He has cut his big molars. I spoke to the Health Visitor yesterday and she said that it was very common and that we need to decide as a family what action we take.

Last night he slept in our bed with DH and I slept in DS's room. He slept through the night and I was able to catch up on sleep.

Don't think there is an easy answer to this common problem. Its either controlled crying or musical beds!
