My DD was a great wee sleeper and would go down awake in her cot and settle herself to sleep without crying 99% of the time. Since we went to visit my mum for 10 days over xmas she won't go into her cot without screaming the house down. I've tried everything I can think of. NCSS which worked once before when she had a brief spell of this isn't cutting it. If she falls asleep on a bottle/cuddled up with me, as soon as I try to put her down in the cot she wakes and starts to screech. It's the most angry, painfull screaming.
Trying CC for past 2 nights, but going in to try and calm her down just seems to make her worse. Eventually she's falling asleep but only after 20-25 mins of screaming the place down. It's killing me. If I lift her, the second I do she stops and cuddles in to me to go to sleep. Any advice greatly appreciated as I don't think I can stand another night of hearing her cry like that.
