soggy, clammy baby - any thoughts?

DS is 6 mths. We co-sleep because he wakes a lot and is being BF on demand. He also comfort feeds to ease colic and lately teething. I'm worried because when he wakes and I re-position him for the next breast his baby grow feels soggy - not leaky nappy though. I would have concluded it was 'cos he's too hot under our duvet, but a while ago he went through a phase of being put down in his cot in a grobag and when I picked him up to bring him into bed for a feed he felt cold and clammy. I experimented with grobag plus blankets but it made little difference - another reason for bringing him in with me - thought he was cold - it is a cold, old house. I'm very careful about duvets and pillows and work on assumption that he needs the same amount of clothing as me (in bed and out). He is otherwise very happy and healthy and it doesn't seem to bother him.
Any thoughts please?

ds gets vv hot when he sleeps. his pillow is often soaked as well as his pj's. he's 19m. we now only use 2 light blankets coz he gets so sweaty. then when he wakes up he's clammy and cold

DS1 has always been a "hot sleeper", whilst DS2 is not, sometimes that is how they are, I know my homeopath has asked about this so it must be of some relevance

I co-slept with dds 1 and 2 and do sometimes with ds and I would never put them under my duvet - they do need less than us. I found the best thing is a 1 tog grobag - you can layer it with just a vest, vest and pjs or a sleepsuit - towelling-lined are extra snuggly - and then have them in that on top of the duvet in the crook of your arm. I bfed dd2 for 2 yrs inc. night feeds with this method.

I've noticed my DS gets very sweaty with artificial fibres: and most grobags are filled with polyester. Try cotton blankets/natural fibres and it might help a bit..
